How Asteroid Algebra works

The game teaches in rounds. Each one opens with a short lesson on one skill (the rule, a worked example and the trap to watch for), then three quick drills on that skill, then an SAT boss: a real SAT Math question that uses it.
Nine skills, from solving linear equations and turning words into expressions to percents, factoring, right triangles and averages. Pick one to train, or play mixed rounds that start with your weakest.
A wrong drill answer tells you the exact mistake behind it and gives a hint, and the other asteroids keep coming for a second try. A drill you miss comes back with new numbers before the boss.
Three shields: you lose one only for a missed boss or a drill missed twice. Your mastery of each skill is saved in your browser and shown on the start screen.
Daily challenge: the same ten waves for everyone that day, at each difficulty. Finish with shields left for a bonus, then share your result grid.
